Boolavogue's 'House of Stories' uses the 19th. century farmhouse for storytelling sessions on the third Thursday of every month. It has featured on TG4, RTE's 'Nationwide' programme and on Japanese Television on three separate occasions. Lar O' Brien, the genial 'Fear a' Tí' keeps order and everyone who attends is welcome to make a contrbution to the proceedings. A 'Bata mór' is passed around and if anyone wishes to tell a tall tale, a joke, recite a poem, sing a song or perform a piece of music, once the stick comes to them, the stage is theirs!
